From our origins, and as a fundamental and differentiating value which underpins our company, care and respect for the environment is maintained across the board.
We develop the manufacture and distribution of our glass tiles through design and construction that lead to a significant reduction of the negative impact that the construction of buildings causes on the environment. The objective of Leed certification is to bring awareness to the construction and architecture sectors regarding the sustainable development of projects, through a certification system applying points to constructed buildings.
Points are awarded based on the credits assigned to each of the requisites that characterise a building’s sustainability. The sum of the credits gives the level of certification. Our products lie within the MR4 points’ section.
The credit assigning parameters are defined by a panel of experts, who take into account the project as a whole, including its design and the material used in the ecological assessment of a building, including the building’s ecological footprint. | |
